Piano Competition Rules

Pre-screening Round:

The prescreening recording should be uploaded as link or send as DVD, minimum 15 minutes of music, containing at least three contrasting styles pieces.

Final Round: August 5, 2019

The final round is live and should contain 15-20 minutes of solo piano music from three different contrasting styles. Pre-screening and final rounds could contain the same repertoire.

Prizes

The three winners of the NCPF Piano Competition will participate in Carnegie Hall Debut Recital (date TBD).

• First Prize: $800 and Carnegie Hall Recital
• Second Prize: $500 and Carnegie Hall Recital
• Third Prize: $300 and Carnegie Hall Recital
