OLLI Registration Information
At the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Humboldt State University (OLLI at HSU), everyone benefits from lifelong learning. Our mission is to create opportunities for academic engagement, civic involvement, personal growth and fun. By offering a myriad of classes and experiences for a vibrant community of learners aged 50 and better, OLLI delivers learning for a lifetime.
OLLI membership lasts one year starting on July 1 and ending on June 30 of each year. OLLI members get first priority registration for classes. Registration forms can be found in the back of the OLLI Catalog and at the OLLI office. You can also download and print the form or use the online link to join or register.
Anyone may register for an OLLI class, and we have options for those who are not yet 50, for those don't live in the area or for anyone who would like to take one of our courses. Nonmembers pay an additional fee per class to enroll. Please note that nonmembers may be dropped from the course if the class becomes full, OLLI members get first priority registration for class up until the week before the course begins.
In most cases, registration and enrollment received before 4 p.m. is processed on the same day it is received. During our peak times, registration may take longer and will be handled on a first come, first served basis. We do try to prioritize by class start date when possible. Enrollment capacity in courses vary, based on location and instructor preference. We encourage students to enroll in classes early to meet enrollment minimums and to secure a space in our most popular classes. If a class becomes full, we will add interested students to a wait list and may add an additional option if there is enough interest. In the unlikely event of class cancellation, all fees are returned. See Policies & Information for more.
