Campus Closed Through the Weekend Amid Ongoing Protest

ARCATA, California — Protesters continue to occupy Siemens Hall, plus another building at Cal Poly Humboldt. Campus will now be closed through the weekend, and work and instruction continue to be remote. The University is making various contingency plans, including possibly keeping campus closed beyond that.  - April 24, 2024 - 2:14 p.m.

Industry Training Certificate for Cannabis Professionals

The Industry Training Certificate for Cannabis Professionals provides the knowledge and resources relevant to those in the cannabis industry.

The program includes three courses: Cal/OSHA Industry Training for Cannabis Professionals, Introduction to Licensing, and Security Regulations.

Along with the certificate upon completion of these three courses, students will also receive the Cal/OSHA 30-hour general industry-recognized course completion card and certificate for General Industry, related to the aspects of the cannabis industry.

NOTE: The Industry Training Certification for Cannabis Professionals program has been suspended for summer 2023, but will return in fall 2023.

Students can still enroll in Cal/OSHA Industry Training for Cannabis Professionals for the summer and earn their Cal/OSHA 30-hour certification.
