Kelsie Hower

Kelsie Hower

Kelsie Hower has been leading successful, multi-million dollar fundraising campaigns for non-profits and political candidates since 2012. She currently serves as CEO and co-founder of River Co., a boutique consulting firm specializing in non-profit development, political fundraising, and event management. Prior to co-founding River Co., Hower was the development director for Unite America, a non-partisan political non-profit, where she led the effort to increase the national organization’s revenue from $300,000 in the 2016 cycle to $3.5 million in 2018. Hower began her fundraising career at the Starboard Group, where she worked with local, state, and federal campaigns, political action committees, as well as a wide range of 501c3 and 501c4 non-profit organizations. Hower graduated from Colorado State University and currently lives in Denver, Colorado with her husband and two dogs. 

 

Tia Baratelle

Tia Baratelle

Tia Baratelle, MPA, has been a professional fundraiser for over a decade. Working with small, mid-size, and large nonprofit organizations. She is currently the public affairs and philanthropy officer at Planned Parenthood Northern California, overseeing fundraising and community engagement efforts in twelve northern counties, from Mendocino County to the Oregon and Nevada borders. Her experience also includes working with local, state, and national partners to fundraise for their political arm, Planned Parenthood Northern California Action Fund. She has a master’s degree in public administration with a concentration in nonprofit management and is also a proud Humboldt State University alumnus with a B.A. degree in political science. In addition, she serves as secretary on the Board of Directors for Humboldt Area Center for Harm Reduction and is an avid bowler in her free time.

 

Sarah Nunez

A graduate of The Fundraising School at Indianapolis & Purdue Universities, Sarah has extensive experience in marketing, volunteer management and annual fundraising. She has lead numerous special event programs from inception to implementation. Her work with volunteers dates back to high school where she was recognized as an outstanding volunteer and attended America's Promise in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as a youth delegate. Her volunteerism included working to incorporate schools and youth into the Volunteers of the Redwoods. Sarah worked as an assistant consultant for two years with Guiamar F. Hiegert & Associates, a consulting firm for nonprofit organizations. She has also been involved as a volunteer fundraiser for numerous nonprofit associations in the Humboldt County area, most recently for the National Autism Foundation's local event. She is mother to two children and lives with her husband, Ray, in Eureka, Calif.
