California's Cal Poly Humboldt Special Programs

Thank you for your interest in hosting a special program at Cal Poly Humboldt!

Special programs at Cal Poly Humboldt feature tailored training or academic programs at Cal Poly Humboldt through International Programs at the College of Extended Education & Global Engagement.  Academic or training programs will compliment activities and cultural excursions in the local community, where students will learn about U.S. culture and Humboldt County’s unique ecosystem including the Pacific Ocean and redwood forest.

Our special programs can include:

  • Academic instruction
  • Training
  • Housing on-campus, with a host family, or in a hotel
  • Meal plan depending on preference
  • Basic Activities Package
  • Health insurance
  • Local transportation access
  • Student Recreation Center access
  • Program assistant
  • Opening and closing ceremony

NOTE: You may fill out the form multiple times if you are interested in more than one program.

Which session would you like your program to be held in? Programs can be 1 - 5 weeks and can start any time during these dates. Note that on-campus housing will be limited during the academic year.

Please indicate the age range for participants. Note that minors (under 18) will incur additional costs.

Please note: The Arcata/McKinleyville airport (ACV) has a limited flight capacity. All members of the group may not be guaranteed arrival on the same flight and there is very limited luggage capacity. Larger groups are encouraged to fly in to the San Francisco Airport (SFO) and charter a bus to Arcata. How do you plan to arrive to Arcata?
The basic Activity Package is $75 and includes: Prairie Creek trip, Farmer's Market, Eureka Old Town tour, Arcata Marsh, Redwood Community Forest hike, Trinidad trip, and organized sports. Please select OPTIONAL activities below. Costs are per participant.
