Staff from the Humboldt Bay Harbor District will share information about several active projects, including offshore wind port terminal.

Rob Holmlund is the development director for the Humboldt Bay Port Authority and is overseeing the Port’s development of a 180-acre heavy-lift marine terminal that will serve as the U.S. West Coast’s first floating offshore wind vertical assembly facility. Mr. Holmlund’s professional background is in site development, urban planning, environmental permitting, and economic development. Prior to his time with the Port, he served as the community development director for the City of Eureka. Mr. Holmlund also has 12 years of private sector experience serving as an urban planning and site development consultant.
