The Art and Kraft of Downsizing

We will discuss the importance of having a clear, positive, and motivating "why" for our downsizing work, dealing with the emotions we attach to our "stuff," specific methods to help process and make decisions, and ideas for what to do with the things we no longer need.

Maggie Kraft is a Senior Move Manager® and joined the National Association of Senior Move Managers in 2014 to better help people address the emotional and physical aspects of downsizing and moving from a long term home. A social worker by training, and a long-time advocate for seniors and people with disabilities, she is also the executive director of the Area 1 Agency on Aging.
