Brown Bag Lunch Online Presentation with Andrea Tuttle, Consultant, Forest and Climate Policy: The UN climate negotiations in Glasgow finally completed the text for the "Paris Rulebook." Now countries focus on delivering their pledges to reduce emissions. We'll take a high level overview of where we stand, and how far is still to go.
Andrea Tuttle has attended the UN Climate Negotiations, and was struck by the changing dynamics, new players, and voluntary commitments. She serves on the boards of the Pacific Forest Trust and the Save the Redwoods League, which celebrate many wins for conservation and climate policy. She was also the former head of California State Dept. of Forestry, under Governor Gray Davis. Still an active retiree, she is occasionally consulting, and focused on understanding the "thinking globally" side to complement "acting locally".
