Brown Bag Lunch Online Presentation with Molly Cate: The League of Women Voters of Humboldt County undertook a nearly two-year study of local behavioral health services. The League heard from health professionals as well as residents desperate to find help for their loved ones. Out of this came the League’s new advocacy position on the topic.

Rev. Molly Cate is a humanitarian educator passionate about history, science, and bridging the barriers between people holding clashing belief systems. She is the spiritual leader and often soloist for Unity of the Redwoods in Eureka, California. She has a master’s degree in consciousness studies from Holmes Institute in Santa Rosa, one in sociology from the University of California, Davis, and several certificates in cross-cultural competence.

The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government that works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
