Brown Bag Lunch Online Presentation with Claire Day, & Kim Coelho: Learn about research in the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement, and use hands on tools to help you incorporate these recommendations into a plan for healthy aging. The talk will conclude with information about the Walk to End Alzheimer's - Humboldt County, that will be taking place on Sat., Oct. 14 at the Adorni Center.

Claire Day is chief program officer for the Alzheimer's Association Northern California and Northern Nevada Chapter. Ms. Day is a clinical social worker and received her degree from Bloomsburg University in 1993. Prior to joining the Alzheimer’s Association, she worked in the long-term care field as a patient and family advocate.
Kim Coelho holds a BA in journalism from Humboldt State University and a masters of science in community health from Austin Peay State University. She worked for the American Cancer Society for 15 years as a health educator and fundraiser. She now works for the Alzheimer's Association as a community engagement manager.
