Learn about our local Walk for Alzheimer’s, and how you can become involved. Education is key to bringing awareness about Alzheimer’s into our efforts to help those suffering from this disease.

Lynn McKenna is a retired teacher. She has been on the Walk Committee for 6 years as the Advocacy Chair. She is passionate about providing resources and information about Alzheimer’s to our community. She is a member of the #1 Visiting Angels Walk Team in the nation.
Kim Coelho holds a BA in journalism from Humboldt State University and an MS in community health from Austin Peay State University. She worked for the American Cancer Society for 15 years as a health educator and fundraiser. She now works for the Alzheimer's Association as a Community Engagement Manager.
