Get an update on the research being conducted and hear about the highlights of the 2022 Alzheimer's Association International Conference. The talk will end with information about the Walk to End Alzheimer's being held in Humboldt County on Sat., Oct. 8, at the Adorni Center in Eureka, California.

Claire Day is chief program officer for the Alzheimer's Association Northern California and Northern Nevada Chapter. Ms. Day is a clinical social worker and received her degree from Bloomsburg University in 1993. Prior to joining the Alzheimer’s Association, she worked in the long-term care field as a patient and family advocate.

Kim Coelho has a B.A. in journalism from Humboldt State University and an M.S. in community health from Austin Peay State University. She worked for the American Cancer Society for 15 years as a health educator and fundraiser. She now works for the Alzheimer's Association as a community engagement manager.
