Campus Access, Resources, and Support

April 28, 2024 - 7:39 p.m.

A hard closure of campus is now being enforced through May 10, and individuals are prohibited from entering or being on campus without permission. The safety and security of our entire campus community are at the forefront of every decision being made. Work and academic instruction will be remote and a process has been defined for authorized personnel to campus access.

Since Monday, the University’s goal has always been to bring a peaceful end to the occupation. The University continues to talk to anyone willing to have productive and respectful dialogue.

Humboldt Bay Aquatic Center

In partnership with Humboldt Extended Education and the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI at Humboldt), the Humboldt Bay Aquatic Center (HBAC) is home to over 150 classes per year. Class hours are only available Monday-Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The facility is not available on weekends for OLLI classes.

Humboldt Bay Aquatic Center (HBAC) is located on the  Eureka waterfront across the bay from Woodley Island Marina.

HBAC offers views of the bay and numerous amenities including high-speed wireless internet, audio/visual equipment, whiteboards, and a kitchen. It also features a hearing enhancement system (T-Loop) in the main conference room 203. This system amplifies sounds to those who have hearing aids with telecoil setting.
