With Paul Rickard, Artist
Get introduced to meditative art of landscape painting. We will discuss why we paint and what inspires us, while being immersed in nature. The instructor will demonstrate the stages of creating an atmospheric watercolor painting out on the landscape, with discussion of composition, value, and color harmony. You will then have the opportunity to create your own painting. Register by July 10.

Paul Rickard
Paul Rickard currently teaches through the Department of Education in Special Education as a student teacher supervisor. He is a career educator and recipient of Humboldt County's Excellence in Teaching and Career Achievement Awards. For the past six years, he has been a full-time watercolor plein air painter.
