Brown Bag Lunch Online Presentation with Peter Lehman, Founding Director, Schatz Energy Research Center : This presentation will provide an overview of hydrogen's role in providing for zero-emission transportation, with special emphasis on Humboldt Transit Authority's current project to transition to fuel cell electric buses. The following topics will be covered:

  • The 35 year history of the Schatz Energy Research Center's work with hydrogen technology and its use in zero-emission vehicles
  • The rationale for using hydrogen as a fuel for vehicles and the use of "green" hydrogen for a virtually carbon free transportation system

  • Hydrogen transportation developments nationally and worldwide.
