A Message to the Campus Community

May 1, 2024 - 1:47 p.m.

Dear Students and Colleagues,

As we all come to terms with the recent events on campus, it is important to recognize the emotional impact they have taken on us, individually and collectively. We want to acknowledge that this has been an extremely challenging week for Cal Poly Humboldt. We are hurting within our campus community and beyond, and we have much work in front of us to reset, rebuild, and heal. This will take time. We will do this together.

Volunteering with the Red Cross

Brown Bag Lunch Online Presentation with Andrew Bogar, American Red Cross

Monday, December 13, 2021 - 12:00pm to 1:30pm

With Andrew Bogar, American Red Cross: Learn about your local Red Cross Program and its volunteers, and how -- with your help -- we can help take care of our neighbors when they need it the most.

The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.

Andrew Bogar is the American disaster program manager for Humboldt Del Norte and Trinity Counties. He has been with the Red Cross for seven years, and has responded to earthquakes, wildfires, mudslides and hurricanes.
