Dear Students and Colleagues,

As we all come to terms with the recent events on campus, it is important to recognize the emotional impact they have taken on us, individually and collectively. We want to acknowledge that this has been an extremely challenging week for Cal Poly Humboldt. We are hurting within our campus community and beyond, and we have much work in front of us to reset, rebuild, and heal. This will take time. We will do this together.

With Anne Braak Katz, Humboldt Social Justice Donor Circle: Learn about social justice, social justice philanthropy, and how to contribute to systemic change in our region. Discover ways to give to make systemic changes, and find out what it means to give “upstream." We will talk about some real world examples in our community and problem-solve together.

We are a group of Humboldt County residents whose members are dedicated to learning about Social Justice, Social Justice Philanthropy and making grants to help make systemic change in our community.

The presenter is a member of the Humboldt County Social Justice Donor Circle. They have been meeting, learning, and giving as a group since 2018.
