With Michael Fields, Theatre Director: Michael Fields will talk about his 45 years at Dell'Arte, and his current transition to a new theatre group, Longshadr.
Dell Arte is an international theatre school and company. The only professional company of its kind in a rural area. It is a pioneer of "theatre of place". Longshadr was created to "come out of the shadows and into the light" in a hopefully post pandemic world.
Michael Fields was a founder and producing artistic director of Dell'Arte for 45 years. He was director of the California State Summer School for the Arts for 10 years. He was also head of the International Theatre institute for the USA for eight years. He is now the director of Longshadr, a new theatre producing group.
