The Clarke Historical Museum is Humboldt County's local history museum. It has been housed in the historic 1912 Bank of Eureka building in Old Town since 1960, and features a variety of exhibits on the pre and post contact history of Humboldt County and Northwestern California. It is well-known for its sizable collection of items related to the Native tribes of the area.

Katie Buesch (she/her) became the executive director at the Clarke Museum in January 2020 after being the registrar/curator since 2017. She attended Cal Poly Humboldt where she graduated summa cum laude with degrees in religious studies and cultural anthropology.
