Monday, October 18, 2021 - 12:00pm
With Corinne Frugoni and Patty Harvey, Humboldt Heath Care For All/Physicians for a National Health Program (HCA/PNHP): Learn how Medicare For All (also known as Single Payer) would be structured, what benefits would be available, how structural reform of our current health care system would address some of the health disparities and racial inequities that currently exist, and how labor and business would benefit.
Both HCA and PNHP are organizations that educate and advocate for a unified public non-profit health insurance system that will provide equal access to high quality health care for all residents of California and the nation.
Corinne Frugoni is a retired family physician who has worked at United Indian Health Services and Humboldt Student Health Services.
Patty Harvey is a retired teacher. They both have been single payer activists for decades.
