Update on Remote Instruction and Work, and Campus Operations

Campus will now be closed through Sunday, April 28, and work and instruction continue to be remote. The University is making various contingency plans, including possibly keeping campus closed beyond that. With Meghan Gallagher, Area 1 Agency on Aging: Did you know your brain is like a muscle? It changes and gets stronger when you use it. Get tangible steps you can follow to help keep your brain healthy. As you age, a healthy, active brain will help decrease your chances for memory loss.

Area 1 Agency on Aging envisions a community where older persons and those with disabilities have knowledge of and access to available resources that promote quality of life. We provide leadership and services to support people in ways that promote healthy aging.

Meghan Gallagher is the information and assistance manager for the A1AA. Prior to joining the agency almost 3 years ago, she worked in the Assisted Living field. Meghan got her start as an advocate for older adults as a teenager after her grandfather had a stroke and has worked in the industry her whole adult life.
