With Baili Farris
This summer at the Studio School, creativity meets sustainability! Budding artists aged 5-13 will explore the fascinating world of recycling and sustainable art, under the guidance of experienced instructors.
We will discover innovative ways to transform everyday recyclable materials into breathtaking works of art. From plastic bottle sculptures to newspaper collages, participants will unleash their imagination, while learning the importance of environmental stewardship.
Diving into various techniques and mediums, artistic skills will be fostered while promoting sustainability. Through hands-on activities, interactive workshops, and outdoor expeditions, everyone will gain a deeper understanding of the impact of art on our planet and how creativity can contribute to positive change.
This will be an unforgettable experience where art, nature, and sustainability converge to inspire young minds and cultivate a brighter, greener future.

Baili Farris
Baili Farris graduated from Humboldt State University with a bachelor's degree in art education and studio art. She immersed herself in every artistic medium she could access. After college she found herself focusing on intertwining nature and personal connections into practices in photography, printmaking and sculpture. She hopes to bring art into everyday life, appreciating the little things, and creating art that is both eye-catching and utilitarian. Art that helps every space become imaginative. When she is not creating, she spends her time with her animals who are truly a part of her ever growing family, from her one legged duck Ponyo to her fluffiest pup Umi.
