Jill Anderson

Jill Anderson is an associate professor teaching in the School of Applied Health. She is passionate about accessible programming and supporting the health of all individuals in the community. Jill has been at Humboldt since 2017, where she has served as department chair; on numerous committees, including the Faculty Senate; and chair terms on the Integrated Curriculum Committee (ICC), the GEAR committee, and the Constitution and Bylaws committee. Jill also has experience working collaboratively with other faculty and community groups to secure external funding and provide health related programming. Examples include a grant from the U.S. Department of Education Office of Special Education that covers tuition for students completing teaching credentials, a master’s program in Adapted Physical Education, and a partnership with Six Rivers Forest Service to design and implement wellness leadership education for their employees.
