A History of UFOs and Crop Circles

24097: Canceled

With Jerry Kroth, Associate Professor Emeritus, Santa Clara University

This class is a full, robust discussion of the possibility that UFOs and extraterrestrials have visited Earth. From Harry Truman to Mikhail Gorbachev all the way to the current Chair of the Harvard Department of Astronomy, Ari Loeb, there is myriad anecdotal testimony that UFOs are indeed real. Get a full overview of commentary, sightings, actual material (like the Roswell Foil), and then explore how it impacts our understanding of the modern world. Acceptance of the UFO hypothesis is likely to cause considerable “ontological shock” in academia, involving wrenching readjustments in thinking in archeology, mythology, history, and maybe even biology. This class should prove intriguing and fascinating to both skeptics and aficionados. Register by April 8.

Video will be available for this class.

This class has been canceled.
