‌Update on Remote Instruction and Work, and Campus Operations

Campus will now be closed through Sunday, April 28, and work and instruction continue to be remote. The University is making various contingency plans, including possibly keeping campus closed beyond that. Instructor Will Bojorques has 10 years teaching basic wildland fire training/FOR 480. He has 19 years fighting wildland fire (17 with the US Forest Service, two with the Bureau of Land Management).

Module experience: Seven years with hand crews, one year with Type 6 engines, 11 years in wildland fire prevention.

Red Card Qualifications: Type 4 Incident Commander, Taskforce Leader, Type 1 Firefighter, Crew Boss, Heavy Equipment Boss, and Fire Prevention Technician.
