Campus Closed Through the Weekend Amid Ongoing Protest

ARCATA, California — Protesters continue to occupy Siemens Hall, plus another building at Cal Poly Humboldt. Campus will now be closed through the weekend, and work and instruction continue to be remote. The University is making various contingency plans, including possibly keeping campus closed beyond that.  - April 24, 2024 - 2:14 p.m.

Wil Franklin received his B.S. and M.A. at Humboldt State University in botany and mycology. He taught botany and biology at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania, while also working in wine imports and retailing. Wil is the winemaker and vineyard manager for Trinity River Vineyards and Stargazer Barn in Humboldt County.
