One-day classes highlighting the Humboldt region: July 18-August 11
OLLI at Humboldt State University on the Northern California coastline will offer an action packed four week summer program featuring lifelong learning opportunities focused on the diverse history, science & environment, arts and industry of California’s north coast.
Humboldt County, known for its towering redwood forests and pristine coastline and with summertime high temperatures in the mid 70s, is the perfect getaway location during the hot summer months ahead. In fact, Lonely Planet named the Redwood Coast as the #1 travel destination in the United States for 2018.
We welcome OLLI members from across the nation to participate in our summer program. We will waive our local OLLI membership fee to those who are members of any other Osher Lifelong Learning Institute program and will charge only for the course itself; just $35 for a single session or $70 for a full day.
For those interested in bringing a group of students for a North Coast getaway, OLLI at HSU will work with your group and HSU’s housing and dining departments on campus to provide group rates on accommodations.
