With Ellie Galvez-Hard & Linda West, Group Leaders
Hola! SPANISH anyone? This spring, join a new Special Interest Group for OLLI members interested in brushing up on their Spanish speaking skills. The meetings will have an informal approach and you may join our bi-weekly meetings at your convenience. We will watch movies and documentaries, read books etc., all approached with a multicultural perspective. We will decide on and confirm meeting places as we meet and explore the flavors of Mexican/Latin American cuisine. Meetings will take place at Spanish speaking restaurants to practice your own skills. This spring the group will be watching a Netflix series show El Rey. It is about the life of a famous Mexican singer-Vicente Fernandez. It is in Spanish with English subtitles.
