Through literary prompts, timed writing, and voluntary sharing, participants will find healing, empathy, and community using the written word. No previous formal writing experience needed.

Amanda "Mandy" Devons

Amanda "Mandy" Devons, MSW, originally from England, then New York City, has been a Humboldt County resident and teacher for over four decades. She has raised children here and taught English, English as a Second Language and Counseling at levels from Kindergarten through College of the Redwoods. She is also active as a writer, photographer and videographer. Since illness necessitated retirement she has been active hiking, biking and volunteering in many Humboldt projects.
