Morocco: The Tour Without the Airfare

27128

With Rollie Lamberson & Rick Vrem, Travelers

Morocco is the gateway to North Africa. It is geographically diverse with glitzy beach communities on the Mediterranean, and the rugged Atlas mountain ranges in the interior, leading into the epic Sahara desert. The hearts of the cities are ancient walled Medinas, with mazes of narrow streets and shops displaying a wondrous array of crafts and foods. The desert is home to Berber nomads who keep camels, sheep, and goats, and make the remarkably colorful Berber carpets.
