Helping People Change


With Jerryl Lynn Rubin

This class teaches psychological tools and techniques which can be effective in offering help to someone we care about, in a respectful manner. Class will include small group discussion and role playing. Motivational interviewing, non-violent communication, compassionate listening and reframing, lending ego strength, addressing the stages of change and resistance, are all techniques which will be taught and practiced. This will be a more in-depth, two week class, than the class offered last Spring.
