Conifers of the Klamath Mountains

43825

With Michael Kauffmann

The Klamath Mountains hold one of the most species-rich temperate coniferous forests on Earth. In 2004 Michael Kauffmann began exploring this diversity and eventually turned his research into the book, Conifer Country. In this class we will explore the conifer diversity of the Klamath Mountains in a slide show followed by a short walk around the university to see examples of conifers around campus. Michael's book will be available. A release of liability form is required.
