With Melissa Hinz, Dance Teacher
Learn how to make music with your feet. Enjoy the great benefits of tap dancing including balance, rhythm, stronger brain to body connection along with strengthening your feet, legs, and core.
You don’t have to have a tap board, or even wear your tap shoes to enjoy taking tap class at home. If you do want a surface to tap on, the instructor recommends getting a piece of plywood from a hardware or lumber store. The best alternative to tap shoes is clean closed-toe shoes with little to no tread on the bottom.
No prior tap experience is necessary. Wear comfortable clothing you can move in. To help with balance, you can hang onto a chair or counter top. If you need to sit while you tap dance, you're welcome to do so.
Fri., Sept. 24-Oct. 29 • 10:45-11:45 a.m.
$72 • Class #: 43847
