Moving Forward to Normal.
Welcome to the OLLI at HSU summer term. A year ago, we spent the summer learning we could gather as a lifelong learning community via Zoom, and stay connected – even though circumstances required us to remain apart from one another. As we look to our new membership year in OLLI, we realize there are things we have learned through the pandemic which will help us define “normal” in new ways.
The OLLI membership year begins July 1st, so now is the time to renew your membership in our lifelong learning community. OLLI classes will remain online this summer. As always, our Monday Brown Bag Lunch presentations are free to all, and the recordings are available here.
We are looking toward to a fall offering OLLI hybrid learning opportunities and outdoor experiences.
OLLI does not receive funding or support from HSU, and relies on membership fees, donations and course fees to run this lifelong learning institute. Now more than ever, we extend our deep gratitude to the many members of the Friends of OLLI, who generously share their resources to make it possible for OLLI at HSU to offer scholarship opportunities, Let’s Connect conversations on Fridays, captioning services for online classes, and free weekly Brown Bag Lunch presentations to provide learning for everyone. OLLI offers the opportunity for Friends of OLLI, who contribute $15 per month or more, to have their membership automatically renewed year after year. More information can be found here.
Thank you for being a part of the OLLI at HSU community. We are excited to move forward to normal with you.
