Through this course, K-12 educators will be exposed to methods in teaching aspects of the Native American Studies Model Curriculum (NASMC) such as Indigenous knowledge systems; cultural strengths: survivance, resistance and community healing; social and emotional literacy; Native authors and artists; math and cultural arts; Native movements and leaders; and connections to national policy and events through a developmental and theoretical lens.
