From Vine to Table: Art of Winemaking

Develop your understanding of the basic craft of smaller-scale winemaking; explore methods of producing wines of balance and complexity; and gain hands-on experience in a commercial winery. This is an intensive one-day course spent at a local winery learning in a hands-on environment. Lunch and a local wine tasting are included.

Wil Franklin

Wil Franklin received his B.S. and M.A. at HSU in botany and mycology. He taught botany and biology at Bryn Mawr College in Penn., while also working in wine imports and retailing. Wil is the winemaker and vineyard manager for Trinity River Vineyards and Stargazer Barn in Humboldt County.
