Learn key methods and programs for developing prospects and donors to sustain the annual operations of the nonprofit organization. Participants will be equipped to apply the development process to their organization; evaluate, design and produce mail, telephone, internet and social media fundraising campaigns; focus their corporate and foundation fundraising efforts.

Maureen Funk

Maureen Funk

Maureen Funk, CFRE, has been a nonprofit professional for about 30 years. She is a grassroots organizer who started various nonprofits like a local farmers market and a destination marketing association. She ran a campaign to build an outdoor amphitheater at a historical attraction for a local theater group. She was also development director for California Future Farmers of America. Maureen is a graduate of Humboldt’s Leadership Studies program and holds a certificate in New Designs for Fundraising. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). She currently works for Rainforest Alliance as a senior associate, individual giving. She also volunteers with her local arts council. She helped recruit volunteers, rebuild the board, and develop a strategic plan. She lives in Sutter Creek with her husband and rescue dog.
