A Place for You...

OLLI | August 1st, 2019

OLLI at HSU is a place to connect, learn, gather with your community, and make new friends. All lifelong learners aged 50 or better are welcome to join or renew membership to our growing learning community.

One of the many benefits of an OLLI membership is being a part of the HSU community, which is delighted to welcome President Tom Jackson, Jr., and his family to our region.

The HSU Library welcomes OLLI members to participate in special events on campus, such as the Lifelong Learning Lounge and Ideafest. With an OLLI student ID card, members are able to check out books and videos from the HSU library as well as login to on-site library computers to access database resources.

OLLI now offers the opportunity for Friends of OLLI, who contribute $15 per month or more, to have their membership automatically renewed year after year.

As always, we genuinely thank the many members of the Friends of OLLI group who generously share their resources to make it possible for OLLI at HSU to offer scholarship opportunities and free weekly brown bag lunch presentations (see pages 20-21) to provide learning for everyone. All members who gave a donation to OLLI at HSU were celebrated again this summer with an invitation to the Friends of OLLI Summer Soiree at the Sequoia Park Zoo.

Everyone is invited to join us at the fall Open House on Saturday, August 17th in Eureka at the Sequoia Conference Center.

We hope to see you there!
