Course Description:

Enjoy colorful stories of two local lumber company towns, Samoa and Scotia, and a shipbuilding community, Rolph (Fairhaven). Discover their state, national and international significance and what the future holds for these communities. Lecture sessions will include slide shows and artifacts. Take a full day field trip to visit the town sites (via personal vehicles).
