Build new friendships, enjoy a beautiful place, and expand your knowledge and skills in the outdoors as you master “Leave No Trace” techniques that will help you, your friends and family enjoy the outdoors while making the smallest impact possible.
This course includes an evening of classroom instruction followed by an overnight camping trip in a local state park. People who have not camped before are encouraged to participate -- we can most likely find equipment for you to borrow or rent. Be ready to learn, stay open to new ideas, and have fun!

Geneviève has been teaching in outdoor adventure programming for over 20 years. Her passion for the outdoors and teaching others started at a young age playing outdoors in the Quebec wilderness. Her work experience includes instructing for Outward Bound, Second Nature and Bold Earth, among other programs. She is a Wilderness First Responder and Leave No Trace Master Educator.
